Charlotte Jane Richardson, 71, passed from this life on July 21, 2020 in Houston, Texas. She was born on May 31, 1949 to parents Ellis and Mary Louise (Raimer) Gibson in Jasper, Texas. Charlotte worked for Sheldon ISD as a bus driver for 26 dedicated years before her retirement. She was a very well-known fan of Elvis Presley, her expansive memorabilia collection filled an entire room. Charlotte was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church and attended every Sunday until her illness. She also loved to cook, and was known to make enough food to “feed for an army”. Charlotte was a dedicated and loving mother who would always provide for her family, they were her entire world. She will be dearly missed. Charlotte is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Connie Louise Adcock; and siblings, Wilburn Gibson, and Lou Ellis Harris. She is lovingly survived by her husband of 53 years, James Richardson; children, Tanya Michelle Langston and husband Richard, J. R. Richardson and wife Katherine; grandchildren, Anthony Langston, Harley Langston, Rebekah Wolffberg, Steven Nickols, Kamerine Nickols; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Wolffberg, Benjamin Wolffberg; nephew who was like a son, Gary Harris; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. The family invites you to join them for a visitation on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Carter-Conley Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Funeral services are to be held on Friday, July 24, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of Carter-Conley Funeral Home. Graveside services are to follow at Allison Cemetery in Warren, Texas under the direction of Carter-Conley Funeral Home.
