Rev. Jeffrey Sanders, 57 of Bridge City, Texas passed from this life on July 25, 2020. Jeffrey was born August 30, 1962 in Rockford, Illinois. At a young age he exhibited an uncommon desire to be pleasing to God. He married Valerie Denise Hawks on August 8, 1981. They raised their four children while serving in ministry from 1990 until the present as pastor of three churches in Chicago, Illinois; Newport, Arkansas and Orangefield, Texas.

Jeffrey Sanders was a true Christian and anointed preacher of Truth. He was a loyal friend, wise pastor, loving husband to Valerie, Daddy to his four children, and the greatest Poppy to his eight grandchildren and one granddaughter on the way that the world has ever known.

Jeffrey taught his children to love people and always choose to reach for the best in others. He was the consummate encourager. Jeffrey and Valerie were considered friend by so many because they always tried to make everybody feel valued.

Jeffrey was joined in death with his beloved Valerie after 38 years of love and joy. He is survived by his father and mother, Calvin and Betty Sanders of Rockford, Illinois; son Jonathan and wife Sarah Sanders and grandchildren Charlie, Levi, Piper, Scarlet and Samuel of Kerman, California; son Andrew and wife Loren and granddaughter Gracie Kate of Jonesboro, Arkansas; daughter Tara Frederick and granddaughters Emma and Sadie of Bridge City, Texas; son Eric and wife Amanda of College Station, Texas.

Family to receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 3rd with a 7:00 p.m. funeral service at The Anchor of Beaumont, 6655 Hwy 105, Beaumont, Texas 77708. A second visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 4th with a 10:00 a.m. funeral procession at Orangefield United Pentecostal Church, 10447 FM 105, Orangefield, Texas 77639 going to Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3900 Twin City Hwy. Groves, Texas 77619 for the interment.
