EDUCATION ~ Attended grade school in Hadar until the 6th grade, then attended junior high in Pierce and graduated from Pierce High School in 2009. Then she attended and graduated from Northeast Community College in Norfolk with an associate’s degree in criminal justice.

EMPLOYMENT ~ Worked at Window World and also at The O Lounge Bar.

MEMBER ~ Our Savior Lutheran Church in Norfolk, Nebraska.

INTERESTS ~ Enjoyed disc golf, bike rides, camping, fishing with her son Hazen and family.

PASSIONATE ~ Loved spending time with Hazen, her family and friends.

SURVIVORS ~ One son, Hazen; parents, Mike (Janet) Christiansen; sisters, Heidi and Hollie; brothers, Curt and Chad; paternal grandmother, Gladys Christiansen; maternal grandparents, Robert (Phyllis) Reed; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

PREDECEASED ~ Her paternal grandfather, Allen Christiansen.

VISITATION & SERVICES ~ Visitation will be 4:00 - 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 29, 2020, at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Norfolk. [ Note ~ The family asks that casual attire be worn in memory of Hailey ]. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Norfolk with Rev. Lee Weander officiating.

INURNMENT ~ 4:00 p.m., Thursday, July 30, 2020, at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, rural Madison.

Cause of Death ~ Senseless gunshot wound by a criminal. Hailey was found suffering from a gunshot wound at her home in Norfolk and died later in surgery.
