WOODLAKE - Erlinda H. Miramontes', 77, of Woodlake passed away Monday, Jan. 28, 2002. She was a loving mother. Erlinda was born to Jesus and Luciana Haro on Aug. 14, 1924, in Patagonia, Ariz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Froilan Miramontes', and brothers Manuel, George and Ramon Erlinda Miramontes' Haro. She is survived by sisters Antonia Madrigal of Arizona, Maria Santos Smith of New Mexico, Manuela Johnson of Washington, Dolores and Rita Haro of Arizona, and by brothers Guillermo, Oriol, Jesus, Francisco and Antonio Haro, all of Arizona. Her biggest love of her life was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mom loved her pet parrot, Landon, and cat, Lucky. She also enjoyed listening to her favorite singing star, Pedro Fernandez, and mariachi. She was a big Rams fan. She loved to bet on her "Rams." Survivors include daughters Mary Renteria of Woodlake, Ernestine Ballesteros of Porterville, Martha Garcia of Madera, Carmen Miramontes' of Woodlake and Rosie Padilla of Exeter; sons Frank Miramontes' of Visalia, Manuel Miramontes' of Hawaii, Froylan Miramontes' of Visalia, Raymond Miramontes' of Los Angeles and Angel Miramontes' of Woodlake; 37 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. Visitation for family and close friends will be 2-7 p.m. Friday and 2-7 p.m. Saturday at Miller Memorial Chapel, Woodlake. A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Monday at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Woodlake. Burial will be Monday following the church services at Woodlake District Cemetery.
