Mr. Robert “Bob” Tipton, age 72, of Acworth passed away Friday. Funeral Services will be held Monday at 1:00 pm at Bellamy Funeral Home Hiram Chapel with Rev. Dennis Bellamy officiating. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors Monday from 11-1:00 pm.
Mr. Tipton was preceded in death by: Brother—Thomas Tipton
Survivors include: Wife—Marie Tipton of Acworth; Daughter—Sharon Tipton of Hiram; Son—Bobby Tipton of Hiram; Sister—Louise White (Fred) of Downingtown, Penn.; Grandson—Jesse Tipton; Nieces and Nephews
Mr. Tipton was retired from the FFA and served in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Paulding County Shrine Club and the Yaarab Shrine Temple. He was a member of the Bates Masonic Lodge #189 AF & AM of Easley, SC. He was also a member of Peoples Baptist Church.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Yaarab Shrine or the American Kidney Foundation.
