Cheryl Ann Childers
CLARKSBURG — Cheryl Ann Childers, 50, of Clarksburg, passed away on Saturday, August 26, 2006, in the United Hospital Center.
She was born in Clarksburg on March 29, 1956, a daughter of the late William C. Childers Jr. and Martha Lee Pritchard Childers, who survives.
In addition to her mother, she is also survived by eight brothers and sisters, Jeff and Lois Childers, Carma Day, Kay and Steve Martin and their daughter, Sara, with whom she made her home for the past five years, John Childers, Jeanne and Dale Hardy, Jim Childers, Lou Ellen and Gary Smith, and Jan Childers and his companion Patti Lowman; several nieces and nephews, William Wolfe, Robert Wolfe, Shane Childers, Lindsay Jones, Ben Childers, Sara Martin and Shakia Rogers, all of whom reside in Clarksburg.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, William Richard Childers.
Miss Childers is a graduate of Washington Irving High School. She was Baptist by faith and attended Bible Baptist Fellowship Church. She was very special to everyone who knew and loved her and will be greatly missed.
Family and friends may call at the Davis Funeral Home, One Olen Thomas Drive, Rt. 98, Clarksburg, Tuesday from 2-8 p.m., where funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 30, at 10 a.m. Pastor George Heitman will officiate. Interment will be in the WV National Cemetery.
