On Sunday, July 12, 2020 our dearly beloved mother, Consuelo (Martinez) Sierra, passed away in her home at the age of 99. She is survived by her sons Salvador Sierra (Chava), Javier Sierra; daughter Socorro Sierra, her grandson Ran Myers, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Sixto Sierra, and her parents, Carlos Martinez and Julia Acosta.
Our mother was the last one to go to meet her 6 siblings. She will be fondly remembered singing her Mexican songs and taking a bus for a "paseo" to downtown El Paso/Juárez. She loved and dedicated her whole life to her family. Mom was a loving daughter, fun-loving sister, affectionate wife, dedicated and beloved mother, amazing "buela", caring aunt, and a beautiful human being.
"Te queremos mucho mamita. Sabemos que siempre nos acompañarás desde el cielo" ¡Nunca dejaremos de extrañarte! Descansa en Paz.
Visitation to be held Monday, July 20, 2020 at San Jose Funeral Home Central from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM; with a Vigil Service at 1:00 PM. Interment to follow at Memorial Pines Cemetery at 2:30 PM.
