Marvin is survived by two daughters, Sherrill (Greg) Anderson and Cathy (Bill) Campbell of Des Moines; son, Marvin T. (Carol) Radden of Altoona; sister, Helen Van Asselt of Irwin, thirteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; son, Ed; brother Pershing and sister, Ruby Desbien.
He was a retired Chief Boatswain's Mate for the U.S. Navy. Early in his Navy service Marvin was injured during the attack on Pearl Harbor.
