ANN MARIA LEMON-GROGAN was born circa 1835 in Georgia to James Lemon & Mary Brown Telford-Lemon.

Ann married William Henry Grogan circa 1850, and they had NINE children of record:

1. Mary Isabella Grogan-Gentry (1851 - 1925),
2. Sarah Ettie Grogan-Frazier (1854 - ?)
3. Louisa Jane Grogan-Lemon (1856 - 1881),
4. Georgia Ann Grogan-Cowan (1860 - 1944),
5. Arie C Grogan-Edwards (1862 - ),
6. Henrietta Frances Grogan-Frazier (1865 - 1941),
7. William Henry Grogan, Jr (1866 - sometime after 1920 in California),
8. Martha Josephine "Josie" Grogan-Beck (1870 - 1946), and
9. James Grogan (1872 - ?).

Ann passed away in 1909, and was laid to rest at Sand Springs Cemetery in Mineola, Wood County, Texas.
