Brandon Scott Bennett, the only son of Tommy Alfred and Keri Sue (Brown) Bennett, was born August 25, 1980 in Lebanon, Missouri.

Scott grew up and attended school in Richland, Missouri where he was active in sports programs and band. He graduated from Richland High School in 1998. As his health permitted, he attended Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri as a Theology student. While at Evangel, Scott met his soul mate, Christine Graman of Chicago, Illinois.

Scott had a very personal relationship with his Lord Jesus Christ at a very early age. On February 28, 1987 at the tender age of 6, Scott professed his faith. He was baptized at Grace Baptist Church in Richland, and was presently a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Richland.

Scott loved to watch movies, listen to music, play his guitar and spend time with his family and friends. But Scott also valued his time studying the Word of God with his good friend, the late Rev. Dennis Cochran or "Denny" to Scott.

After a long, difficult battle with cancer, Scott went home to be with his Lord the morning of April 23, 2004 surrounded by his loving family and friends at his home in Richland, Missouri, at the age of 23 years, 7 months and 29 days.

Scott leaves to cherish his memory, his parents: Tom and Keri Bennett and his sister: Amanda Bennett all of Richland; Amanda's fiance: Ryan Rogers of Stoutland; maternal grandmother: Wanda Brown of Richland; paternal grandmother: Grace Howell of Windyville; and his loving friend and soul mate: Christine Graman of Chicago, IL, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and many other family members and friends.

He joins in heaven his maternal grandfather: Kerry Brown and his paternal grandfather: Robert Howell.

Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, April 26 at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Richland with Pastor Chuck Baker officaiting. A video tribute of Scott's life was set to the song of "His Strength is Perfect". Other music from CD's included "Blood Brothers", "With Hope" & "Not Home Yet".
