LAMAR COUNTY ECHO, Apr. 11, 1985: 'Mrs. Nettie B. Roberts, 2526 Lamar, Apt. 145, died Sunday, April 8, at McCuistion Medical Center. Services were held Tuesday, April 9, in Huff Funeral Home Chapel at Whitesboro. Burial was in Sadler Cemetery.
Mrs. Roberts was born Oct. 14, 1900, in Leon County, Texas, a daughter of Charles and Melinda Cartwright Perryman. She was a retired dietitian from Memorial Hospital in Corpus Christi. She had lived in Paris 12 years. She was a Baptist.
Surviving are four sons, Mack C. Roberts of Harlingen, Donald D. Roberts of Slidell, LA., Bobby P. Roberts of Laneville and Charles R. Roberts of San Antonio; two daughters, Mariunan White of Dallas ad Jo Ann Cummings of Alvin; 15 grandchildren; three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Billy G. Roberts in 1933'.
