Mrs. Mattie Loyce Noble, age 78, resident of Winona, died after a lengthy illness Feb. 22, 1993 at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Lewis Granthan & the widow of the late Sam W. Noble.
Funeral service was conducted at First Presbyterian Church, Wednesday Feb. 24 at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Harold Richardson officiating, assisted by Joe Chapman. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Noble is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Bertha Miller of Winona; three sisters, Mrs. Mavis Henning of Winona, Mrs. Inez Boatman Channell of Jackson and Mrs. Nola McGlothin of Kilmichael; 1 granddaughter, Mrs. Roxanne M. Ballard of Memphis; 1 great grandson Jeremy Scot Ballard.
