She was born November 27, 1942, in Shelbyville, to Louie D. Hamner, Sr. and Vivian(Lisk)Hamner.
She married Gayle Snyder on November 8, 1953, and he survives.
Peggy is also survived by her children, Anita Snyder of Edinburgh, Carl Snyder of Ft. Worth, TX, Arinda Maka'afi of Utah, Patrick Snyder of Indianapolis, Angie Snyder of Edinburgh, and Todd Snyder of Utah; 13 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Peggy was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was a lifelong homemaker and enjoyed reading, baking and doing her family genealogy. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family.
A public visitation will be held Saturday, July 25, 2020 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Murphy-Parks Funeral Services, 703 S. Harrison St., Shelbyville, IN.
A private family graveside service will be held at Mt. Auburn Cemetery.
