"Elton W. (sic) Force, 64, a former Milton township resident, died of asthma Friday evening at his home in Hearne, Texas (Robertson Co.). Born in Milton township, June 5, 1889, he was a son of Warren J. and Ida N. Force, and for many years was employed as a carpenter by the Heller-Murray Co. Ill health forced his retirement several years ago, after which he moved to Texas, but spent the summers at Milton. He was a member of the Pricetown Methodist church. Surviving are his wife, the former Hazel Medley of Milton, whom he married Sept. 7, 1912; a daughter, Mrs. D. C. Kaley of Hearne; a son, Elton H. Force of Cincinnati; a sister, Mrs. Fred Moherman of North Jackson; a brother, Roscoe Force of Milton, and seven grandchildren. Funeral services, with Rev. W. C. Knipe in charge, were held Tuesday at the James Funeral Home in Newton Falls, and burial made in the Eckis cemetery."
