Nancy was born in Holdrege, NE to Claire and Marie (Rapp) Nelson. She was one of six children, all of whom remained close friends their entire lives. Early in her marriage, Nancy invited Jesus to be her savior. Her faith was her guide in every way. She also took great joy in her Swedish heritage and enjoyed making traditional dishes. Her trip to Sweden was one of the high points of her life. Other interests included travel, reading, her pets, and creating photo histories of her extended family. Her special delight was her grandchildren. She was a trusted and valued friend to all who knew her. Her friends truly appreciated her wisdom and encouragement. She was well-loved and will be missed by all.
