Jennifer "Jenny" Blaney Baker – Grand Island, Florida - Passed away suddenly on Monday July 20, 2020. A one-of-a-kind independent free spirit, friends and colleagues describe “Jenny” as a beautiful person both inside and out. She was someone who could always be counted on to go above and beyond the call of duty and she was ready and willing to help those in need whether two or four legged.
Jenny will be profoundly missed by her devoted husband, Marty and the children: Cody (Sami), Mollie (Clay), Amy Lynn, Carson (Logan) and Martin – and four grandchildren to whom she was a caring step mom and grand mom. She also leaves her 4-legged companions Roxy, Bozo, Arthur & Merlin behind, plus numerous friends she held dear along with her co-workers in the City of Leesburg.
Jenny enjoyed concerts, music and motorcycles and was a “Ruby Red Rider”. Her passions were many. She was a skilled and creative crafter who was always looking to learn something new. She was an amazing cook and the array of baked cakes and desserts she shared with others and brought to Sunday family dinners never disappointed. That her last name was “Baker” was an understatement!
“Her laugh was contagious – and her smile was sincere,
She will long be remembered by those she leaves here.”
This “PINK” sparkle lady would want you to make the most of each day because life is too short to be anything but happy. Please consider a donation to an animal welfare or rescue organization, or the charity of your choice, in her memory.
There will be a private celebration of life to honor Jenny.
