Peggy Beth Freeman, age 90, passed away peacefully July 23, 2020.
She was born June 16, 1930 in West Plains, MO to Clarence Bertram (Ted) and Jewell Azalea Shaw. She married David Jack Freeman in June of 1949, who preceded her in death in April of 2007.
She grew up in West Plains, MO, lived in Rolla, MO in the early 50’s, Ferguson, MO in the late 50’s and lived most of her life in Florissant, MO where she raised her family. She moved to St Peters MO in 2016.
Peggy loved to paint and was very talented, working in oils, acrylics and watercolor at various times. Many of her paintings are hanging in the homes of her family and friends. She was a wonderful mother and had many close friendships from her youth that she maintained throughout her life. She is known by all her friends and family as a sweet, compassionate, gentle and giving person.
Peggy is survived by two sisters, May with her husband Don, Fay; her daughter Linda Beth and Linda’s husband, Mark; son R. D. Freeman and his wife P.; grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and her nieces. All of these she loved and touched deeply.
Peggy will be buried at the St Ferdinand Cemetery in Hazelwood, MO on July 28th at 11:30 AM alongside her husband David Jack Freeman.
