Jeffery “Jeff” Scott George, age 59, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2020. He was born September 30, 1960 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He grew up most of his life in Indiana. Jeff was a Veteran, having served his country in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and in his spare time loved bass fishing, bowling and poker. He had won lots of poker tournaments. Jeff had recently taken up corn hole and had been competing in corn hole tournaments. He was employed with CKS Packaging for many years.
Preceding him in death were his mother, Helen Geraldine “Gerri” (Blanford) George; and a brother, Timmy George.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Estes George; his father, Farrell George; son, Shane (Gabriale) George; daughter, Shelby George; stepsons, Scott (Ashley) Rice and Seth Rice; sisters, Debby (Andy) Bartsch and Kathy George; one grandchild, Alex Rice; nieces and nephews, as well as other family members and friends.
