COLOMBE WALTER L. ("Doc") D.D.S Dr. Colombe passed away on Sunday morning at Highland Hospital as the result of pneumonia, respiratory, and heart failure. He was 93 years old. He practiced dentistry in Oakland's Parkway neighborhood from 1939 to 1984. During World War II he served in the US Army in the Pacific including being senior dental officer in General MacArthur's Command at the end of the war. He is survived by a son, Roy Colombe, of Pacifica, CA, grandson Leroy Colombe of Kailua, HI., granddaughter, Audrey Colombe of Tampa, FL., and great-grandsons Griffin and Ken.
