Tommy attended Rock Hill Schools and worked as a garbage man for On-Time Garbage. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, who loved the outdoors. Thomas loved riding his dirt bike with his beloved daughter Emma.
He was preceded in death by his father James (Jimbo) Simmons.
In addition to his wife and mother; he is survived by his daughter: Emmaretta Simmons; five brothers: Jamie Douglas, Dusty (Tonya) Douglas, Eugene Simmons, Steve (Angel) Hackworth, and Scott (Ruth) Hackworth; two sisters: Keri Simmons and Krystal Gail Simmons; two step-sisters: April Shope and Melissa Sparks; a cousin, he loved as a brother: Jason (Jessica) Douglas; mother and father in-law: Wayne (Nancy) Clark; brothers and sisters in-law: Shawn (Dora) Myers and Joe (Emily) Clark; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins he absolutely adored.
He will be greatly missed by family, friends, and all the knew him.
