Patricia Ann Spear, 73, of Marshalltown, Iowa, formerly of Le Grand, died on Wednesday, July 22, 2020. Patricia's wishes were to be cremated with no funeral services.
Patricia was born on January 4, 1947, in Toledo, Iowa, the daughter of Steve Hala and Ruth (Titcomb) Hala.
Patricia was an active, faithful member of the Jehovah Witnesses of Marshalltown for over 45 years, who were like family.
Patricia worked at the Iowa Veterans Home as a nurse for 26 years and loved her time there. She considered the residents she cared for as family.
On August 28, 1965, she married Gary Spear. Together they raised three children, Steve (Dottie) Spear, Chris (Danny) Bell, and Chad (Megan) Spear. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her sister Nancy Hala, and a brother Steven (Pam) Hala.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and brother Bernie Hala.
