Our beloved Mother, Bertha V. Bailey went to eternal rest on July 20, 2020 at the age of 95. Bertha was the daughter of Anton V. Psencik and Victoria Kremel Psencik, born March 15, 1925 in Cistern Texas. She moved to San Antonio at 16, to attend Business College. After graduation, she worked for Household Finance, as a Bookkeeper. Bertha was married for 41 years to the love of her life, Herschell Bailey, until his death in 1987. Bertha was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star of Highland Hills, served as Worthy Matron and member of Highland Park Lutheran Church. She was a homemaker, very active, avid sports fan, always volunteering, played with 5 Bunco Clubs, one for over 50 years, loved playing games, Dominos, Bingo, crocheting, going to the Senior Center, Word Search, chauffeuring her friends to their Dr. appointments, and always had a joke to tell. She was a devoted loving Mother to her four children: Cheryl Bailey Blanchette (Curtis), William Anthony Bailey, Jim Bailey (Thaila) and Tim Bailey (Lynda). Nannie to her Grandchildren: Rhonda Blanchette Field (Boots), Dean Blanchette, Ian Bailey, Crystal Bailey Brock (Josh), Jimmy Bailey Chamberlin (Megan), Jade Brooks, Drew Brooks Catelena Bailey Enriquez, Gabriella Bailey and Gage Bailey. Great Grandchildren: Kolby Field (Elizabeth), Karlie Field Wilson (Trey), Loryn Blanchette, Elliott Brock, Benjamin Brock, Maddie Chamberlin, Marley Chamberlin, Elijah Enriquez, Royal Rldings, Roux Rldings and numerous nieces and nephews.

For the past few years, she was excellently cared for by the amazing staff at Sundance Nursing Home in New Braunfels, Texas. She was proceeded in death by her parents: Anton and Victoria Psencik, Husband: Herschell Bailey, son: William Anthony Bailey, Sisters: Anita Brunner, Marie Brawley, Liddie Vrana.
