Cathy is survived by her husband, Ronald L. Murphy; six children, Jill (Bryce) Giltner, Jenny McClellan, Jessica April McClellan, Michelle "Shelly" Murphy, Ronald M. Murphy and Ginger Murphy; seven grandchildren, George Landry III, Akira Xavier, Kaitlynn Giltner, Ethan Giltner, Dillon Ryan, Natalie Ryan and Cara Crump; mother, Virginia "Ginger" Johnson; two siblings, GiGi (Jim) Hassos and John (Myunghee) Eimes; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one son, George Landry II; two fathers, Francis McClellan and John Adam Eimes; and one brother, Michael Eimes.
Cathy loved being a mom and taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed shopping and hosting family and friends for gatherings. She was a woman of faith and her children fondly remember her sharing bible studies with them and teaching them about God.
Services: Visitation at SHEPARD FUNERAL CHAPEL, 9255 Natural Bridge Road at I-170, St. Louis, Missouri (314-426-6000) on Tuesday, July 28 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service on Wednesday, July 29 at 1:00 p.m. also at the funeral home. Burial follows at Fee Fee Cemetery, Fee Fee Road at Old St. Charles Road, Bridgeton, Missouri. (Family and guests are required by St. Louis County regulations to wear face coverings and practice social distancing.)
