She was the eldest daughter of Nicanor Pacheco and Emilla Gutierrez-Pacheco. She grew to womanhood and then immigrated to the U.S. in early 1963 with her first husband Lloyd Hatfield. Afterwards she moved to Shreveport, LA where she started a home and cared for her 2 daughters. She later married Rudolf (Doc) Montgomery, a local businessman. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher and as a Spanish Instructor for church members in preparation for international missions. She also instructed new members in the English language as well. She moved to the Gainesville area in 2010 to be near her daughter. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Raul Pacheco, Nicanor Pacheco, Hernan Pacheco; and husbands, Lloyd Hatfield and Rudolph Montgomery. She is survived by her daughter, Celia Hatfield and spouse, Dr. Tomasz Kosierkiewcz; daughter, Marie Batho and spouse, Alan Batho; grandchildren, Anna Natalia & Paulina Kosierkiewcz, Michelle Angela Brantley, Justin Batho, Jamie Noval, Phillip Batho; great grandchildren, Brayden Dale King, Jamie Rose King, Jace Elder King & Britney Jo Ackerman, Levi Batho, Troy Dyer, Johnathan Noval, Michael Helton, Emmett Helton, Amelia Batho; siblings, Betsy Pacheco and Edith Pacheco.
