At some point in his life he went by the name of Robert Brent Wallace. At the time this was posted I am not sure if there was a legal name change that took place or if he simple adopted the name on his own. He was the son of Robert Taylor Wallace and Ila Evans. Brent Wallace Married Irene Gore and had a son, Robert Taylor Wallace who died shortly after birth. Irene is buried in Scott Cemetery in Scott New York
Brent died in September of 1978. He was beaten to death by Claudie Betsy Luttrell. The incident is reported to have happened in the home of Luttrell on Jones Mill Road just west of Puryear. The medical examiner reported that Brent died from multiple skull fractures and hemorrhages, his jaw was also broken resulting from a beating. It is reported that Luttrell had beaten Brent Wallace with a lead filled billy club or the handle of an ax. As told to me, the beating was in result of an argument that took place between the two men over money. The lead filled billy club was one that Brent had made at some point himself.
