Stacy Lynn Taylor, better known as “Dono,” entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 20, 2020, peacefully at his home in Winchester. Stacy was born June 14, 1969, to Frances Taylor and the late Donnie Lee Gray. He was a 1990 graduate of Franklin County High School. An avid lover of sports at all levels, Stacy’s favorite National Football League team was the New England Patriots. The New York Yankees was his favorite Major League Baseball team and the Florida Gators was his favorite college football team. Stacy was a believer in Christ and worshipped at the Holy Covenant Original Church of God and Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church. He leaves to cherish his memories, son Grady Fitzgerald Battles of Manchester, Tennessee; loving mother Frances Taylor; devoted sisters Tateasna Taylor (Orlando), and Galeah Lester. Extended family members include nephews Jordon Taylor and Tyler and Jamal Blackwell; two uncles Randy and Wallace Taylor; and an aunt Gloria Taylor, all of Winchester; and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation, Saturday, July 25, 2020 between the hours of 1:00 and 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church. Interment will immediately follow at Watson-North Memorial Park with Kelly Allgood, Jesse Gray, Bryan Smith, Bryan Taylor, Willis Taylor, and Kenneth Wooten serving as pallbearers.
