August 20, 1948 in Salyersville, Kentucky, David married Nana Lee Watson, she survives him.
David was the former minister of the Denham Freewill Baptist Church and the Knox Freewill Baptist Church He was a member of the Kosciusko Co. Association of Freewill Baptist Churches. David loved southern gospel music and loved to tell stories. His greatest passion was spending time with his wife of nearly 72 years Nana, his children and grandchildren.
David worked as a minister and heavy equipment operator.
