Born on January 3, 1967, to Ronald and Shirley Krisko and was raised in North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania. Denise graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a BS in Economics and later earned an MBA in Finance from Villanova. She also held the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Prior to Co-Founding Vident Investment Advisory, she was the Chief Investment Officer and Managing Director at Index Management Solutions, and she also previously held senior positions with Mellon Capital Management, BNY Asset Management, Northern Trust, and Deutsche Asset Management, after having begun her career with The Vanguard Group. Among her many honors and accolades, Denise was named one of the Top Women in Asset Management by SourceMedia and Money Management Executive in 2019.
Denise was an incredible person and loved spending time with her “boys,” Christopher and Rob. They enjoyed trying new restaurants, watching movies, and visiting New York City and Cape May. Despite her hectic work schedule, she made them a priority. Rarely did she miss an after school pick up for Christopher.
Denise is survived by her husband, Robert, and son Christopher; father Ronald Krisko, mother Shirley Krisko; brother Ronald Krisko, sister in law Katherine Krisko, niece Caroline Krisko, nephew John Krisko; sister in law Amanda Lee, brother in law David Lee; Aunts and Uncles, Agnes and John Zock, Phyllis and Michael Minnery. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
A private entombment was held at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in East Hanover, NJ.
