Born to the late Jay and Huetta Gilliam Layne on May 29, 1943, Kenneth had a passion for cooking and being a chef at Clifftops.
He is preceded in death by his brothers; Harlon, Fred and Lonnie Layne and sisters; Marlene O’Neal, Ella Mae Blankenship, Gladys Sanders, Velma Layne, Louise Shied and Juanita Layne.
Survivors include his wife, Bunia Nunley Layne; sons Kenneth “Kenny” Layne, Jr. and Timothy Layne; one sister, Arlene Layne and three grandchildren, Morgan, Garrett and Cody.
A Memorial Service is scheduled for 11am on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Bethel Cemetery in Pelham, Tennessee.
