Winslow - Richard H. "Dick" Mueller, 81 of Winslow died Friday, January 4, 1986, in a Fayetteville hospital. Born December 3, 1904, at Paris, Texas, the son of Paul F. and Margaret McLaren Mueller, he was retired from the Fayetteville Police Department, the Revenue Department of the State of Arkansas and was deputy sheriff for Washington County. He was a Catholic, a member of the Arkansas Municipal Police Officers Association and had been a resident of this area for 73 years prior to moving to Amarillo, Texas. He was the father of the late Paul H. Mueller, a former West Fork chief of police.
Survivors are his wife, Mabel Christie Mueller of the home; a son, Richard Mueller of Johnson; a daughter, Mary Mueller of the home; and two grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Moore's Chapel with burial in Fairview Memorial Gardens.
