Charles Benjamin Murray, Sr. passed peacefully at his home surrounded by family on July 19,2020 in San Antonio, Texas. He was called home and is now dancing and rejoicing with family and friends that have gone on before him. Known to family and friends as “Chuck,” he was born on March 16, 1932 in San Antonio to Violaand Frank Murray. Chuck was the last surviving child of his two siblings Frank Murray and Raymond Murray. He spent nearly his entire life in San Antonio, Texas. Chuck and Bobbie Kotzur (preceded him in death) raised four daughters and one son. Much of Chuck’s working career was spent as anInstaller employed by Hollywood Crawford Door Company.Chuck was a proud United States Army Veteran who served his country as a Private First Class Soldier during the Korean War.
Chuck was dearly loved by his family and friends. When not enjoying the company of friends on the golf course, he could be found watching a football or basketball game with a loyal canine friend by his side.
Chuck is survived by his five children, grandchildren, other relatives and many friend.
Chuck had selfless and unconditional love for his family, especially his children and grandchildren. His family feels blessed to have shared the time he spent here. He will forever beloved and missed.
