Stacy was born the daughter of Lee and Peni Powell on March 21, 1962 in Portland, Or. where the family lived until 1969, then making their home on Phelps Rd. in the Sandy, Or.

As a child Stacy enjoyed countless hours exploring the outdoors and riding her horse in the fields, down the lane, and along the Historical Bull Run Flume and Roselyn Lake.

Stacy attended Bull Run Grade School and graduated from Sandy High. Shortly after graduation she began her career in Medical Records at Kaiser Sunnyside. While working there she met one of her lifelong friends; Carol Lally.

Outside of work Stacy enjoyed many accomplishments. Gardening was a passion where she spent countless hours, placing brightly colored plants in a pot, tending to her flower beds or keeping a watchful eye on her flourishing vegetable garden. It was all a labor of love. Stacy had a great eye for interior decorating and was always helpful with sharing her ability with friends.

Stacy was always caring and helpful to others. Never forgetting to send a thoughtful card, a small gift, a meal to enjoy, or just a simple "is there something I can do to help". Her passions for the canine world was enjoyed by many pets she rescued out of love.

Survivors include her daughter, Jaime Schoessler (Derek) of Vancouver,Wa. and Grandson Ryder; daughter Jenna Leonard of Vancouver Wa; father Lee Powell of Sandy, Or; brother Kelly Powell of Gresham, Or; and lifetime best friend (aka) sister Dorie Dodson of Sandy, Or.
