He was the son of Earl and Golda Marie (Pargeon) Sanders. He and his wife, Patricia, were lifetime members of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. He served in the Screaming Eagles 101st U.S. Army Airborne Division. He used his talents to build houses throughout his entire life, while also working at Blood Brothers, later known as Rockwell International. Along with his parents, and wife, Patricia (Hiscock) Sanders, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Anne Ochampaugh; grandson, Patrick; and siblings, Jeanette (Stanley) Peterson, Eileen “June” (Robert) Graves, Kathryn (Arthur) Traxler, Robert (Sherry) Sanders and Letha (Michael) Krcatovich. He is survived by his children, Marie (Todd) Esterline, Patrick Sanders, Mike Sanders, Sam (Kimberly) Sanders, and Raymond (Melissa) Sanders; grandchildren, Justin, Meghan, Rebecca, Jackie, Jerri, Donnie, Samantha, Travis, Crystal and Autumn; and ten great-grandchildren.
