The family will receive friends in the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home Saturday from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM.
Ms. Carroll was born April 19, 1942 in Dearborn, Michigan to the late Eldridge T. May and Frances Elizabeth (Rollins) May. She worked at Procter and Gamble as a production worker, was a member of Shiloh Methodist Church and also attended Bethel Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gary Carroll.
She is survived by two daughters, Marla Carroll of Huntingdon, Carla Champion (Brent) of Dresden, three sisters, Brenda Reynolds, Becky Baker, both of Huntingdon, Linda Birdwell of Memphis, and one brother, Gerald May of Albuquerque, New Mexico. She also leaves five grandchildren, Lily Champion, Ella Rose Champion, Daisy Champion, Wyatt Champion, and Mia Carroll.
