Charles Oscar Chipp Dies.

Charles Oscar Chipp, 68 years old, died at his home last Tuesday, Oct. 21st, after a short illness. Mr. Chipp was a highly respected citizen and had many friends who regret to hear of his going.

Death of C.O. Chipp.

Charles O. Chipp, 68 years old, who had been in poor health for some time, passed away at his farm home about 3 miles north of McFall Tuesday, Oct. 21st, at 5:30 p.m. Mr. Chipp was loved and respected by all who knew him and was one of the prosperous farmers of our community.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Mrs. Anna Chipp, one daughter, Mrs. Elsie Giles, and a granddaughter, Mrs. Maxine Hopkins, of McFall.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon by Rev. O.D. Hedges of Martinsville at the Christian church (sic), and burial was at the Foster cemetery (sic) southeast of New Hampton, under the direction of the Gromer funeral service of Pattonsburg.
