He was former owner/operator of Performance Plumbing Inc. in New Albany. He was a parishioner at Holy Family Catholic Church. Doug loved fishing, artifact hunting and leather craftmanship.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Earl Barth.
Doug is survived by his beloved wife, Bonnie McDonald; sisters, Janet (Stuart) Schlageter and Mary Catherine "Dee" (Thomas) Johantgen; brothers, Alan (Mitzi) McDonald, Kevin (Karen) McDonald and Brian (Karen) McDonald; Clayton Truesdell and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and four-four legged friends, Sammy, Owen, Cra Cra and Elizabeth.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2020 at Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road. Funeral Service will be at 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
