Richard A. Muller, 69, of Hancock, NY, died on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Wilson Medical Center, Johnson City, NY, after complications from a surgery. He was born on February 9, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Mathias and Margaretha (Thomas) Muller.

Richie married Maureen Bengston on May 10, 1986. He was an Army Vietnam Veteran who retired from the Carpenters Local Union #926 in New York, NY. Richie continued with carpentry work after retirement and helped friends with different jobs. He loved trains and had several in his home that he had built, with a huge layout in his garage. Camping was something Richie and Maureen enjoyed, along with all the great times they had together.

Surviving are his wife, Maureen, daughter, Debbie Muller, and her daughters, Ashley, Briana, and Gabrielle Muller, 1 son, Michael Muller, and 1 stepdaughter, Noreen Petersen. He is also survived by a brother, Thomas Muller and his wife, Michelle.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 5-8PM at the Henderson-Biedekapp Funeral Chapel, Hancock. A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 11AM in St. Patricks Cemetery, Long Eddy, NY.

Memorial donations can be made in Richie's memory to the Town of Hancock Ambulance, P.O. Box 733 , Hancock, NY 13783
