Joyce "Toy" Montgomery Maxwell, age 90, a resident of Warsaw, Kentucky, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020, at her home. She was born July 8, 1930, in Gallatin County, Kentucky, to the late Adrian and Kitty McDaniel Montgomery. She retired after 37 years as director of the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service (ASCS) office, a federal agency of the United States Department of Agriculture. Toy was a member of Warsaw United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: a brother, Chet "Mac" Montgomery; and a sister, Louise Wilson. Toy is survived by: a daughter, Kitty Williamson, of Warsaw; three grandchildren, Tom Work, III, Andrew (Maggie) Work and Jake Williamson; and two great-grandchildren, Tommy Work, IV, and Tucker Scott Work.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 3, at Warsaw United Methodist Church, 204 East Main Street, Warsaw. The memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the church.
