Funeral services for Richard Jefferson Hathcock, 45, of Vaiden, were conducted Tuesday afternoon, April 10, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Hathcock, who was associated with the Hathcock Brothers construction firm in Winona, died April 8 at Monfort-Jones Hospital in Kosciusko following a lengthy illness. He was a native of Montgomery County and a member of the First Christian Church of Thomastown.
Rev. W. M. Hull and Rev. C. E. Burden officiated at the services. Interment was in Winona Gardens of Memory. Oliver Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Judy Ferrell Hathcock, Vaiden; his parents, James Ervin Hathcock and Mrs. Mattie Fullilove Hathcock, Winona; a sister, Mrs. Joe Hardin, Winona; four brothers, Rev. Ernest Hathcock, Winona, Fred Hathcock, Howardsville, Virginia, Thomas Hathcock, Winona, and Roy Hathcock, Duck Hill.
Pallbearers were Ronald Ferrell Lockett, John William Lockett III, Gene Ferrell Power, Lee Manuel, Johnny Manuel, and Ralph Parker.
