Mrs. G. M. Buchanan

Mrs. George M. Buchanan, 88, of N. Mill St., the former Myra Ordway, died at 11:30 p.m. yesterday in the Jameson Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.

She was born in Troupsburg, N.Y., March 12, 1880, to the late Clarence and Eva Wilcox Ordway. She married George M. Buchanan in 1922. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Buchanan was a member of the Elks Auxiliary, Chapter 109 Order of the Eastern Star and the Wimodausis Club.

Surviving are a son, Earl Jenkins of Akron; a daughter, Mrs. Nellie Kegg of New Castle; a sister, Mrs. Mary L. Blanchard of Flint, Mich.; and three grandchildren and several greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1967 and a daughter, Mrs. Eva Parr, in 1956.

Friends will be received at the John R. Hodge Funeral Home, 107 E. Wallace Ave., from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.

A private service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home conducted by Rev. John Walheim of East Brook Methodist Church. Interment will fallow in Oak Park Cemetery.
