Hayden Thomas Scott, 71, a native of Houma and resident of Chackbay, passed away, Dec. 5, 2013.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Thibodaux Funeral Home and from 8 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Chackbay.
He is survived by his former wife, Dianne Marie Benoit Scott; companion, Patricia Rose; children, Hayden Gerard Scott and wife, Joy, and Geralyn Ann Percle and husband, Pim; stepchildren, Terence Rose and wife, Wanda, Ferald Rose and wife, Regina, and Stephanie Cortez and husband, Faron; brothers and sisters, Regan Picou, Peggy Boudreaux, Magnus Domangue, Timothy Scott, Suzanne Theriot, Keith Scott and Roxanne Ayzienne; and grandchildren, Grant Thomas Rodrigue, Samuel Gerard Scott and Kristen Claire Rodrigue.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester Thomas Scott and Violet Marie Picou Authement.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Matthew's Episcopal School in Houma, E.D, White Catholic High School in Thibodaux or to the Boy Scouts of America.
