Oscar Craig Odom was born in Waynesboro, MS on April 23, 1944 to Oscar P. and Minnie Kelley Odom. Oscar Craig left us on July 19, 2020 to be with his Lord and Savior with a smile on his face! He loved God, his country and his family.

Craig graduated high school in 1962 at Waynesboro-Central High School in Waynesboro and joined the U.S. Navy serving four years during the 1962-66 timeframe. Upon discharge from the Navy he later worked at Vickers/Eaton Industries, Jackson until retirement. He had been a member of the MS Air National Guard, 172d Maintenance Squadron, 172d Air Wing as a Master Sergeant (MSgt) where he retired.

Craig was preceded in death by both his parents, Oscar and Minnie Kelley Odom and his wife, Carolyn Sue Odom. Survivors include his daughter, Karen Suzette Odom McCall (Ricky) of Brandon, MS; the LOVES of his life, grandchildren, Kristen McCall Mangum (Matthew) and Kaitlyn McCall, two great grandchildren, Mylee & Colt Mangum, and brother, Glen D. Odom (Frances) of Terry, MS and multiple cousins.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 12 Noon on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at New Life Assembly Of God, 300 Shiloh Rd, Brandon, MS 39042, preceding services at 12 Noon. Following church services the Mississippi Patriot Guard will escort the procession to the Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Newton, MS where he will laid to rest with military honors.
