Calvin Day Jr. (Elvis) 28, of Jewel Ridge, VA, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020. Calvin was born January 8, 1992 in Welch, WV, a son of Calvin Day Sr. and Linda Day. He was a carpenter and he liked cars and four wheelers. Survivors include his parents, Calvin Day Sr. and Linda Day of Pea Patch, VA; two children, Calvin Ian Day and Keira Day both of the home; sister, Chasity Hagerman and husband Eric of Pea Patch, VA; brother, Derrick Day and wife Merinda of Wimmer Gap, VA; and nieces and nephews, Darrick Day Jr, Jaelyn Bailey and Kylie Day all of Wimmer Gap, VA, and Bailee and Ansley Hagerman all of Pea Patch, VA. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 1 o’clock with Reverend Charlie Cooper, Reverend Gilbert Cooper and Reverend Jimmy Day officiating at the Oak Grove Church on White Ridge near Pea Patch, VA. Burial will follow in the Day Cemetery at Jewell Ridge, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
