Nina (Jean) Imogene Butler

Jean Butler passed away peacefully on Thursday July 16, 2020. She was
born on September 14,1938 to Paul and Juanita Pilcher in Oak Grove,
Missouri. She moved to Oregon as a teenager in 1955. After graduation, she
married Dwight Hammack and had 5 children, Valerie, Sonny Joe, Tammy,
Dwight and Mark.
While raising a family she worked at Fairview Training Facility in Salem, OR.
She enjoyed working with the disabled at Fairview as an LPN for over 20
years, retiring in 2001.
Jean later met and fell in love with Ed Butler in 1980 and they were married up
to his death in 2002.
Jean is survived by her four children, Valerie, Tammy, Dwight, Mark, eleven
grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She has three surviving
siblings, Cliff Pilcher, Bob Pilcher, and Cheri Carver.
Jean will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Private graveside services will be held at a Belle Passi Cemetery, Woodburn,
OR Friday July 24. Cared for by Simon-Cornwell Colonial Chapel, Woodburn.

Jean Butler passed away peacefully on Thursday July 16, 2020. She was
