Nola Jean Maynard Antle, 68, of South Point, passed away June 21, 2011, in King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky.

She was born in Lovely, Ky., on Nov. 20, 1942, the daughter of the late Clay and Laura Harmon Maynard.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Clay Maynard Jr. and Homer Maynard.

She was a member of Warfield Methodist Church and was a homemaker and former hairdresser.

She is survived by her loving husband, James Antle of South Point; a son, Brian Hannah and his wife, Michelle; her precious grandchildren, Brian Hannah II, Abagail Sierre Hannah and Bella Arthur, all of South Point; a brother, Howard Maynard of Martin County, Ky.; and five sisters Barbara Ann Whitman of Portsmouth, Edna May Howell of Pilgrim, Ky., Fannie Jude of Lovely, Ky., Louise Kilgore of Inez, Ky., and Columbia Kilgore of Jacksonville, Fla.

She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2011, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel by Pastor Terry Harmon and Daniel Jude.

Burial will be in Highland Memorial Gardens in South Point.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Condolences may be sent to steenfuneralhome.com.
