Janet Scott Ramsey Braun Baker Bryan was born March 28, 1947 in Chicago, IL and passed away April 8, 2014 in Marcola. She graduated from Evanston Township High School and moved to Oregon in 1976. She married Rusty Bryan in July 2002.
Janet was an Educational Assistant at Marcola Elementary School. She enjoyed cross stitching, knitting and reading.
She is survived by her husband Rusty of Marcola, daughter Elizabeth & Richard Speelman of Louisville, KY; son Stephen & Jenny Braun of Pahoa, HI; son Peter & Praire Braun of Bandon, OR; daughter Dianna & Greg Greenacre of Marcola, OR; son Joseph & Jennifer Braun of Atlanta, GA; daughter Jessica & Michael Deeds of Marcola, OR; 8 grandchildren; and sisters Susan Shakleford of Lawrence, KS and Kate Ramsey of Macon, GA. She is preceded in death by her parents Margaret and Thomas Ramsey, and second husband David C. Baker.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be held June 20 at 6pm Marcola Elementary Gym. Contributions may be made in her name to Marcola Elementary in lieu of flowers.
