Anthony H. Griffin, 89, of Chelsea, passed away on April 25, 2020 at the Chelsea Soldiers Home.
Cherished son of the late Richard and Margaret (Halfpenny) Griffin. Former husband of Celia (Trevisone) Di Mare. Loving father of Lucille Anacone, John Griffin and his wife Katherine and the late Joseph Griffin. Caring grandfather of Jennifer Somerville, Joseph Menard, Sean Griffin, Cecelia “cc” Griffin and Joshua Griffin. Adored great – grandfather of Brady and Luke Somervelle. Anthony was predeceased by his brothers and sisters. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 pandemic all services are private at this time.
Anthony was a member of U.S. Coast Guard during the Korean Conflict.
Interment of cremains with Military Honors will be held at a later date.
