"Theodore Guiton, 75, of 314 N Brown St, died at 4 am Sunday at the Titusville Hospital where he had been admitted Saturday at 11 am, after an illness of several months. Mr Guiton was born in 1882 in Guitonville, Forest County, a son of Frank and Josephine Moll Guiton. The family moved to Titusville when he was a small boy. He had been a resident here for more than 50 years. His entire adult life was spent in the oil well supply business. Since the death of his mother in 1941 (sic) [1940], Mr Guiton lived alone at his home on Brown Street. An ardent hunter and fisherman, he had taught many of the younger residents the finer arts of both. He was also noted for his many contributions of oil field relics and antiques to the Drake Well Museum. His survivors include seven first cousins. The body is at the Arnold Funeral Home where friends may call...and attend the funeral service there at 2 pm Tuesday. Rev John Murray, pastor of the Chapmanville Methodist Church, will officiate."
