Fred Married Bernice Gibson, b June 16, 1891 - July 21, 1934 on Aug 3, 1918 either in Oregon or Johnson Co, IL. There were two children of this marriage: Bernice & Genevieve Escue.

Fred married Mrs Elsie Gourley on Nov 29, 1934 in Johnson Co, IL. There were no children of this marriage. Her maiden name, date of death and place buried is unknown by me.

William Fred EscueMr Escue died at 7:15 pm Monday of a heart attack while watching a television program in his home.
The Rev Virgil Elmore, pastor of Goreville Methodist Church, will officiate at funeral servuces, Burial will be in Cana Cem north of Goreville.
Mr Escue was a member of the Goreville Methodist church and taught a Sunday School class.

He also was a member of Goreville Masonic Lodge and the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, Salem.

Mr Escue was born Aug 21, 1892, in Goreville, son of Mr and Mrs William Marshall Escue.

Besides his wife, Nova, he leaves daughters, Mrs Imogene Meyers and Mrs Berniece Henry, both of St Louis, MO and Mrs Genevieve Durham of Oil City, LA. ; sons, Orval and Homer, both of Peoria; stepsons, Charles Franklin Smith of Palastine, Ted Smith of Paducah, KY, C C Foster of Goreville and Billy Foster of Fresno, Calif., 22 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren
