Cody Alan Miller Jr “ Boogie “, age 5 months, of Mountain City TN, went home to be with his lord at Johnson City Medical Center.

He was the son of Breanna Aearial Tipton, and Cody Alan Miller Sr. ”

Boogie” was a daddy’s boy who was just learning how to talk and roll over. He loved his family and thought everyone was funny. “Boogie” always greeted the world with a smile, he was the light of his family’s life. “Boogie” loved music and being held by his parents, and he loved to yank Papaw’s beard.

He was preceded in death by his maternal Great Grandmother, Frances, and his Great-Great Grandmother, Myrtle Sims, and maternal Great-Great Grand Parent’s Cates.

In addition to his parents, “Boogie” is survived by his sisters; Carson, and Destiny, two brothers; Jackson, and Grayson Miller. His paternal Grandmother; Christie Hamby; Paternal Grand Father; Doodle Hamby, two uncles; Devin Hamby, and Skyler Hamby, Paternal Grandfather’s; James Miller and Jeff, Paternal Great Grandmother; Peggy Hamby, Great Uncles; Joey Whitson, and Greg Whitson, Maternal Grandmother; Amy Jones, two maternal grandfather’s; Mimz Herrin, Seven Aunts; Laci, Summer, Cierra, Harley, Sage, Sissy, Summer, and Ashley, One best friend; Connor and other immediate family also survive.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Tetrick Funeral Home in Elizabethton, TN. A funeral service to honor the life of Cody Alan Miller Jr will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 23, 2020 with Pastor Tim Gouge officiating. The graveside service and interment will be held following the funeral service.

Active pallbearers will be Doodle Hamby and his father Cody Alan Miller Sr.

Those who wish to attend the graveside service will travel together to the cemetery in procession.

Those who prefer Memorials in Lieu of Flowers may make donations to Niswonger Children’s Hopsital, 400 N State Of Franklin Rd, Johnson City, TN 37604.
